12 Engtekkers lead by Dato' Gillian Teh participated in this meaningful GREEN event at ACS Stepping Stone Centre at Balik Pulau Penang. YB Farid bin Saad, ADUN Pulau Betong officially launched this event with a short speech, and Dato' Gillian Teh later presented YB Farid with a souvenir, and together, planted a Loofah tree each, near the ACS fence. It have been a great eye-opening experience with various exhibition demo such a EM organic fertilizer, weaving using remnants & lidi, earthware pottery making, mini petting zoo, and etc. There were also several sales booth on reuse & reduce jumble sales, organic cotton apparels & rice husk ware, organic vegetables, local fruits and local food including laksa, nasi goreng, agar-agar, snacks, bread, drinks & our very own creation of delicious salad popiah, with all earnings donated to ACS.
