Mud ball Throwing

It took a few hours to make the mud balls, and a month for fermentation and drying. 2 October 2010, 9.00am – it is now Engtek's turn (8th Factory) for mud ball throwing at the river bank of Sungai Nibong Kecil. This project was part of the Penang Skills Development Centre (PSDC): Effective Microorganisms Mud Ball, in conjunction with World Earth Day. 14 factories in the industrial zone each jointly adopted a 230 metres stretch of the total 1.7km Parit MOX and Sungai Nibong Kecil. The event was led by our Executive Chairman, Dato' Gillian and CEO, Dato' Teh Yong Khoon with the participation of Engtekkers and PSDC Managers. Despite raining that morning, it did not dampen the mood and enthusiasm of Engtekkers. Some even challenge one another on who can throw the furthest of them all. Everyone enjoy themselves tremendously and within half an hour, all the mud balls have been hurled into the river.
